In vitro study	Napabucasin down-regulates Stat3-driven stem cell gene expression and cancer stem cell performance, and effectively inhibits the self-renewal of highly pluripotent cancer cells, with IC50 ranging from 0.291 to 1.19 μm, there is no inhibitory effect on normal stem cells.
In vivo study	In mice bearing PaCa-2 xenografts, Napabucasin (20 mg/kg, I. p.) significantly inhibited tumor growth, recurrence, and metastasis.
